Lufkin, Texas, is located in Deep East Texas and is the county seat of Angelina County. The city is at the intersection of U.S. Highways 59 and 69 in the Piney Woods Region and developed primarily as a timber town but has diversified to become a regional center. From downtown Lufkin head north on South First Street toward East Lufkin Avenue and take the first left onto West Lufkin Avenue. Turn left onto South Cotton Square and take the first right onto South Angelina Street. Turn right onto Abney Avenue and continue onto East Laurel Avenue. Turn left onto North Timberland Drive and continue onto US. Highway 59 North for approximately 15 miles towards Nacogdoches through the City of Redland and crossing the Angelina River. In Nacogdoches bear right onto U.S. Highway 59 North/Texas 224 Loop North toward Texarkana and merge onto U.S. 59 North/Southeast Stallings Drive/Texas 224 Loop West. Merge right onto U.S. 259 North/North Street and continue to follow Highway 259. Bear left onto Highway 204 West and proceed for 27 miles to the intersection with Texas Highway 110 North. Turn right on Highway 110. In Troup turn left onto Texas Highway 110 North/Duvall Street and continue toward Tyler passing through the City of Whitehouse. Turn left on Golden Road and turn right into the Bank of America parking lot.
