A Texas lawsuit alleges a Williamson County deputy was retaliated against for reporting a Sheriff for unethical behavior. The former deputy says he lost his job in July after reporting that the county sheriff was using county time and resources for his own personal gain. The plaintiff saw the Sheriff having a county mechanic fix his personal vehicle. According to the lawsuit, the county's charges against the plaintiff listed in his termination "were not valid and were actually made up in retaliation for Plaintiff reporting the illegal activities of the Sheriff."
