Samsung to Face First Class Action Over Galaxy Note 7 Phones
spacer image
Samsung is facing the first class action lawsuit over its now-recalled Galaxy Note 7 phones, which have been known to explode. The company previously replaced parts of the phones after multiple instances of the phones catching fire and/or exploding. However, Samsung recalled the phones completely after the phones with new parts were also prone to catching fire and exploding. The lawsuit, filed by three Samsung Galaxy Note 7 owners, seeks unspecified damages and an order requiring the company to repair, recall and/or replace the phones, and extend applicable warranties.
