An environmental group has filed a lawsuit against Walt Disney Parks and Resorts U.S. Inc., claiming many of the main attractions at Disneyland contain high levels of lead. The suit alleges "excessive levels of lead in such commonly touched objects as the Sword in the Stone attraction" are putting children at risk. The suit is asking the park be required to cover the areas or post health warnings.  Louis Sahagun, LA Times  10/18/2011

While auto companies are launching ad campaigns encouraging drivers to eliminate distractions while behind the wheel, many are also rolling out new vehicle models with cutting-edge technology that support multitasking while driving. Critics and safety officials say auto companies are highlighting the dangers of distracted driving in hopes to avoid scrutiny of their built-in systems. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has said it is working on developing a set of guidelines aimed at regulating visual and manual distractions.  Myron Levin , FairWarning.Org  09/22/2011
