Family of ISU Student Who Committed Suicide Awarded $315,000

The family of an Iowa State Student who died by suicide will receive $315,000. The state recently approved the payment to the family of the student who was found dead on railroad tracks in Ames in Nov. 2015. The family alleged the state failed to provide adequate mental health services to the student, who had received counseling at the university for anxiety and depression.
