Texas Family Warns of Trampoline Park's Dangers
Injuries on the rise as trampoline park industry remains unregulated. A 2016 study by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) found between 2011 and 2014 'the number of emergency department visits from injuries sustained at trampoline parks rose more than 10-fold from 600 to almost 7,000.'

CEO of Seattle Children's Admits Six Patient Deaths Tied to Mold

The CEO of Seattle Children's hospital has admitted that 14 patients have fallen ill due to a mold contamination, and six have died. Dr. Jeff Sperring blamed the hospital for failing to recognize the connection between Aspergillus mold and the facility's air-handling units. The hospital is currently facing a lawsuit by the family of a boy who became disabled after exposure to mold at the hospital.

Settlement Reached in Wyoming Trench Collapse Death

A confidential settlement has been reached in a wrongful death lawsuit over a fatal trench collapse at resort in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The lawsuit alleged the developer was to blame for the trench collapse that killed two men, who were performing excavation work at the Fireside Resort. A county prosecutor has declined to pursue charges against the defendant.
