Sues After 10-Year-Old Falls from Zip Line at Florida Trampoline Park |
|
A
personal injury lawsuit has been filed against a trampoline park in Florida
after a young boy fell from a zip line. The lawsuit was filed by the mother of
the 10-year-old boy who was injured when he fell out of a harness on a
zip-line-esque ride at Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park. The boy
suffered broken bones, a collapsed lung, and a brain injury, but the full
extent of his injuries is still being determined. An investigation into the
fall determined that it was the result of operator error, not the equipment.

Report
on Uber Crash Questions Testing of Self-Driving Cars |
|
Documents
released this week by a federal agency raise questions about whether a
self-driving Uber SUV that ran down a pedestrian last year should have been
allowed on public roads for test purposes. A National Transportation Safety
Board report on the March 18, 2018 crash in Tempe, Arizona, that killed Elaine
Herzberg, 49, found that the Uber self-driving system couldn't determine if
she was pedestrian, vehicle or bicycle. It also could not predict that she was
jaywalking in the path of the moving SUV.
