Hyundai, Kia Admitt to Incorrect MPG Claims | | Hyundai and Kia officials have admitted to overstating the fuel economy of many of their vehicles sold in recent years. The announcement comes on the heels of an EPA investigation prompted by consumer complaints that found discrepancies in the advertised mileage claims. A class-action lawsuit has also been filed in California over miles per gallon advertising for the Hyundai Elantra.
