of Woman Killed in El Paso Shooting Files Suit Against Suspect, 8chan |

The
family of an 86-year-old woman killed in the Aug. 3 massacre at an El Paso
Walmart has sued suspected gunman Patrick Crusius, his family and 8chan, the
website where police said Crusius posted a racist manifesto before the
shooting. The lawsuit, filed Tuesday by Angelina Maria Silva Englisbee's
family, family members accused several people linked to the website 8chan of
promoting and encouraging a hateful environment on the platform, leading to
the shooting. Police said they believe Crusius posted a racist manifesto
targeting Hispanic immigrants to the online message board before the
shooting.

Recalls 650K Trucks, SUVs |

General
Motors is recalling more than 600,000 four-wheel drive trucks and SUVs because
a software error could activate the braking system, increasing the risk of a
crash. The recall covers the 2014-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 2015-2020
Chevrolet Suburban, 2015-2020 Chevrolet Tahoe, 2014-2018 GMC Sierra 1500 and
2015-2020 GMC Yukon models.
