GM Named in Lawsuit Over Diesel Truck Emissions |
|
A lawsuit has been filed alleging that GM rigged its diesel trucks to pollute. The lawsuit was filed Thursday in federal district court in Detroit and accuses General Motors of engineering the vehicles to bypass emissions testing. The lawsuit, which alleges that GM rigged the trucks to circumvent pollution control devices, is similar to lawsuits filed this year against Volkswagen and Fiat Chrysler. GM has responded by saying that the lawsuit is "baseless" and that it will defend the lawsuit.
