In his suit, Singh accuses tour officials of "utilizing a flawed investigation and imposing unfair discipline" on Singh despite the fact that he was cleared of any allegations and never failed a tour drug test. Singh says he has been wrongly labeled by the tour, the media, fellow golfers and fans as a cheater, and is seeking unspecified damages in his lawsuit. The suit, filed by the crew member's mother against the boat's owner, claims the captain of the ship decided to sail out into the ocean during Hurricane Sandy despite the boat's known structural problems. The plaintiff is seeking $90 million in damages.
