Investigation: Dentists Under Pressure to Drill

North American Dental Group follows a new trend of dental offices bought by private-equity investors and turned into revenue-generating machines. USA TODAY and the investigative unit at Newsy, owned by The E. W. Scripps Company, spent more than a year examining the dental chain. Reporters interviewed dozens of its former dentists, employees and patients and reviewed thousands of pages of documents from courts, dental boards, patient records, social media reviews and other sources.

Eight Southwest Flight Attendants Sue Boeing

Eight flight attendants at Southwest Airlines are suing Boeing more than a year after its 737 Max jet was grounded, saying the airplane maker " concealed design and safety defects" from Southwest, airline employees and the public. The suit, which is seeking class-action status, includes flight attendants from six states, including two from Texas.

PwC Settling Age Discrimination Complaint for $11.6M

PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) has agreed to a $11.625 million settlement of a class action lawsuit alleging age discrimination. Per the settlement, PwC has agreed â??to enhance certain of its recruiting procedures geared toward further attracting qualified older applicants for entry level jobs.â?? The lawsuit alleges the firm discriminated against older applicants by filling staff positions almost exclusively through college campus recruiting that was off-limits to older workers.
