New Mexico Radiologist Found Negligent in Woman's Death |
A New Mexico jury has found that a radiologist was negligent in the death of a 44-year-old woman. The jury determined that the radiologist was negligent in failing to note in his report a small lesion that was, or later became, cancerous. The cancerous lesion resulted in the death of the woman. However, the jury ruled that the doctor's negligence did not cause any damage to the woman and no money was awarded to her estate.
