The Sioux City Explorers baseball team is facing a lawsuit after a young girl suffered a head injury when she fell while playing in a bouncy house. According to her family's lawsuit, the staff knew a bouncy house in a play area had a hole or tear in it, but continued to let children play in it. The 6-year-old girl was in the bouncy house on July 7, 2018, when she fell 12-14 feet through the hole before landing on the ground head-first. The lawsuit filed Monday in Woodbury County District Court states the girl continues to suffer cognitive medical injuries and manifestations resulting from the fall.
