A lawsuit has been filed by a truck driver against FedEx over an alleged incident of road rage in November 2014. The lawsuit accuses a FedEx driver of instigating a road-rage confrontation in California that ended in him punching the plaintiff and knocking him to the ground. Filed Wednesday in Los Angeles Superior Court, the lawsuit alleges battery, assault, negligence and both intentional and negligent infliction of emotional distress. FedEx issued a statement saying it "holds its service providers to high standards of safety and professionalism. We cannot comment on the specifics of these allegations while they are under review."
