A Texas lawsuit alleges that a nursing home resident died as a result of pressure sores which led to a fatal infection. According to the lawsuit filed against the Integrity Hc nursing home in Wood River, the staff at the facility failed to assist the 65-year-old woman and prevent her physical and mental decline. The lawsuit filed by her estate alleges she suffered pressure ulcers, dehydration, infection, decreased consciousness, osteomyelitis, and infection that â??were foreseeable and caused or contributed to her death.â??
