Roundup Lawsuit Given Green Light
Hundreds of lawsuits claiming Monsanto's weed killer Roundup caused cancer were given the green light to proceed to trial, a San Francisco judge ruled Tuesday. U.S. District Judge Vince Chhabria said there's â??rather weak" evidence the ingredient causes cancer, but the opinions of three experts linking glyphosate and non-Hodgkinâ??s lymphoma were not â??junk science."

An appeals court overturned a $1 million jury verdict against Stoneleigh Place Apartments in Garland. The Fifth District Court of Appeals in Dallas reversed the trial courtâ??s ruling, in which jurors decided the leasing company should have known about the danger a faulty window posed, and that it failed to protect the woman renting the apartment from that danger.
