Black McDonald's Executives Allege Racial Discrimination in Lawsuit

A lawsuit filed in federal court in Illinois alleges two black McDonald's executives faced racial discrimination. The lawsuit alleges the plaintiffs, who both work in Dallas, faced a hostile working environment and were passed up for promotions because of their race. The lawsuit alleges the discrimination has led to a sharp decrease in African-American executives working for McDonald's, which has dropped from 42 to 7 since 2014.
