Louisiana Couple's Honeymoon Cruise Turns into Medical Nightmare |

Widow of Orange Park Conductor Sues Amtrak |
The widow of a 36-year-old Orange Park Amtrak conductor has filed suit against the passenger rail company after her husband died Sunday when his train slammed into a stopped freight train near Cayce, S.C. Christine Cella, whose husband, Michael Cella, died along with 54-year-old engineer Michael Kempf of Savannah, Ga., also sued CSX Transportation as well as Amtrak for negligence in a 14-page complaint filed Thursday, according to attorney Howard Spier. The lawsuit says the Amtrak train “was improperly and unexpectedly diverted” onto a side track by means of a switch that “was negligently and recklessly misaligned and locked in the reverse position” by one or more employees.
