A former judge in Luzerne County, Penn., has filed a lawsuit against colleagues and officials she accuses of conspiring to "oust" her from the bench. In her lawsuit, the plaintiff claims that other former judges "used their influence over courthouse personnel to persuade more than two dozen other witnesses to substantiate allegations" against her that resulted in her termination. The lawsuit names at least six former court employees and judges as defendants and is seeking unspecified monetary damages as well as a ruling allowing her to come back to the bench.
