N.J. Psych Hospital Faces Lawsuit Over Patient's Alleged Abuse

New Jersey's Ancora Psychiatric Hospital is facing a lawsuit by the family of a disabled woman who was allegedly abused by staff at the facility. The lawsuit alleges that the woman, who is described as an "incapacitated person," was physically abused on multiple occasions by staff at the facility and sustained multiple injuries due to negligent care. The hospital was investigated by the Justice Department in the past, but no actions were taken.

But what if a Wells Fargo employee then creates a separate, bogus account in your name? It turns out that arbitration still rules the day.As the San Francisco banking giant faces allegations that its employees regularly create fake accounts to boost sales figures, courts have repeatedly turned away consumers trying to sue over the issue.

Costco E. Coli Celery Recall Expanded to Other Stores

An E. Coli recall that began when Costco chicken salad was discovered to be contaminated has expanded to include the recall of more than 150,000 products for sale at grocery stores and major retailers such as Walmart, Target and Costco. The Food and Drug Administration recently announced that it was expanding the recall to include all celery from Taylor Farms Pacific Inc. of Tracy, California. The FDA stated that it was issuing the recall out of "abundance of caution," due to a celery and onion diced blend that tested positive for E. coli, a bacteria that can cause severe illness.
