G4S, the world's largest private security company, has lost hundreds of guns. For decades, G4S executives, managers and guards have failed to secure the company s vast arsenal despite repeated warnings from federal regulators that its missing guns have been used in murders and other violent crimes, a USA TODAY/Milwaukee Journal Sentinel investigation found.

CA Governor Rejects $13.5B PG&E Settlement |

Gov. Gavin Newsom has rejected a $13.5 billion settlement that Pacific Gas & Electric struck just last week with thousands of people who lost homes, businesses and family members in a series of devastating fires that drove the nation's largest utility into bankruptcy. Newsom said the proposed settlement announced last week does not achieve the goal of addressing what he considers its most important elements, providing safe and reliable power to PG&E customers. In my judgment, the amended plan and the restructuring transactions do not result in a reorganized company positioned to provide safe, reliable, and affordable service," he said.

Texas State Student Files Suit Against Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity |

A lawsuit filed on behalf of Texas State University student Nikolas Panagiotopoulos alleges members of the Texas State Pi Kappa Phi Eta Rho fraternity assaulted the student in October, leaving him with a fractured skull and traumatic brain injury. The suit was filed Thursday in Travis County District Court against the fraternity's national chapter, Pi Kappa Phi, Texas State's Pi Kappa Phi chapter, Eta Rho, and at least three individuals of the fraternity.
