Nine More Accusers File New Lawsuit Against Epstein Estate |

A lawsuit was filed on Tuesday against the estate of financier Jeffrey Epstein alleging the sexual abuse of girls and young women. According to the lawsuit, filed by nine accusers, the alleged abuse began as early as 1985. Epstein committed suicide on Aug. 10, five weeks after he was arrested on federal sex trafficking charges. The recently filed lawsuit seeks compensation from Epstein s $577 million estate.

Minnesota Files Suit Against Juul Over Youth Vaping |

The state of Minnesota has filed a lawsuit against Juul Labs alleging the e-cigarette company is responsible for a rise in youth vaping. According to the lawsuit, the company violated state consumer protection laws by targeting teens with the marketing of its e-cigarette devices. The lawsuit, announced by Gov. Tim Walz and Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan, was filed in Hennepin County District Court on Wednesday.

19 Women File New Lawsuit Against Lyft Over Predatory Drivers |

Ride-sharing company Lyft is facing a lawsuit by 19 additional women who say they were sexually harassed and/or assaulted by drivers. The lawsuit was filed on Wednesday in the San Francisco Superior Court in the wake of a separate lawsuit filed by 14 women with similar allegations. Both of the lawsuits allege drivers attempted to rape, grope, and have sex with their riders.

Lawsuit: Teen Sexually Assaulted While Volunteering at Fort Worth Animal Shelter |

A teen was repeatedly sexually assaulted over several months while volunteering at a Fort Worth animal shelter, according to a lawsuit filed against the city. The lawsuit claims the city didn t protect the teen from Christian Morgan, who the family says repeatedly sexually assaulted the teen when she volunteered at the shelter where he worked.
