Former
Students Allege Sex Abuse by Yeshiva Principal |
|
Nearly 40
former students of Yeshiva University High School in New York have filed a
lawsuit alleging they were sexually abused by the school's former principal.
The lawsuit alleges the boys were lured into private encounters with the
principal which resulted in sexual abuse. A lawsuit filed by some of the
plaintiffs was previously tossed out due to the state's statute of
limitations. The recent lawsuit is filed under the stateâ??s Child Victims Act,
giving alleged victims a one-year window to file claims outside the statute of
limitations.
