MacBook Burn Injuries Subject of Lawsuit Against Apple

Apple has been hit with a lawsuit alleging its defective MacBook caused burn injuries to a consumer. The lawsuit was filed by a man who alleges he suffered a burn injury from his computer in 2016. The lawsuit cites burns to the plaintiff's left leg in addition to other undisclosed serious and permanent personal injuries.

High Speed Chase Resulted in Injuries to Motorcyclist, Alleges Lawsuit

Bernalillo County, New Mexico, is facing a lawsuit by a motorcyclist who alleges he was struck by a pickup truck during a police chase. According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff was hit by the truck as deputies pursued the vehicle in a high-speed chase. "BCSO deputies were actively pursuing the suspect at high speed and the pursuit was conducted at speeds well in excess of reasonable limits," states the complaint. The plaintiff alleges he suffered serious injuries when he was thrown to the ground and pinned under his motorcycle.

Walmart Suing Tesla After Seven Fires at Stores Using Solar Panels

Walmart has filed a lawsuit against Tesla's energy division, claiming breach of contract after fires at several stores that were using the electric car maker's solar panels. In the lawsuit filed Tuesday in New York State Supreme Court, Walmart says fires broke out at "no fewer than seven" stores between 2012 and 2018 and caused millions of dollars in damage.
