According to the lawsuit, the young man was bullied and physically abused by the bus driver, who is shown in the footage yelling at the student and shoving him back into his seat. A Michigan man was falsely accused by conservative and alt-right websites as being the driver of Saturdayâ??s deadly car attack on anti-racist protesters in central Virginia, in the hours after the tragedy, according to the man's attorney. A Dallas, Texas based attorney representing the man and his family, said in an interview Sunday night that they believe the Michigan man was targeted because his father owned the Dodge Challenger years ago before legally selling the vehicle. New Jersey Nursing Home Resident Dies From Bedsore |
The family of an elderly woman from Bergenfield, New Jersey who died after developing a bedsore at Oradell Health Care Center has filed a wrongful death lawsuit. The woman was committed to the continuing care retirement center after she suffered a fractured right hip on Oct. 30, 2015. The woman stayed at the medical center until her insurance ran out, at which point she was released by hospital staff. The lawsuit, filed in Bergen County Superior Court, alleges that staff at the center failed to notice or treat a bedsore that had developed on the woman's back. After noticing the bedsore, the family brought the woman in for treatment, where doctors determined that she had developed sepsis. Doctors sent her home, where she died in the care of hospice workers on March 6, 2016. Oradell Health Care Center is accused in the lawsuit of "reckless indifference and deliberate disregard."

The parents of a 17-year-old girl who died during a crash on a hayride in Maine nearly three years ago have settled a lawsuit against the ride operator. The young woman's family filed suit against the farm owner responsible for the operation of the haunted hayride, which crashed and resulted in the death of the girl. The fatal crash took place when the hayride overturned on Oct. 11, 2014 at Harvest Hill Farm. The money from the settlement will go to support the ShineOnCass Foundation, a charity founded in the victim's name, says her family. The mission of the organization is â??to educate, inspire and empower youth to make their world a better place through volunteer charitable activities.â?? The amount of the settlement has not been disclosed.
