Click on the headline to register. | Second I-75 Crash Victim Files Suit Against Driver | | A second lawsuit has been filed against the semi-truck driver who caused a seven-car, fatal accident on Interstate 75 in in Chattanooga, Tennessee earlier this summer. The 39-year-old truck driver crashed into seven vehicles, killing six people in the accident that took place in June. The most recent lawsuit has been filed by one of the crash victims and his wife. The lawsuit names as defendants the driver and his employers, the owners of Cool Runnings Express, Inc. and seeks $2,500,000 in compensatory damages and $10,000,000 in punitive damages. On Monday, the driver was indicted on six counts of vehicular homicide, four counts of reckless aggravated assault, driving under the influence of narcotics, speeding and making false reports about his duty status.
