Bayer, J&J Hid Xarelto Dangers, Says Lawsuit |
Bayer and Johnson & Johnson are facing legal action by about 18,000 patients who say that the drug makers hid the dangers of the drug Xarelto. One man has filed suit against the companies alleging that he suffered internal bleeding after taking the drug. His lawsuit, to be put before a jury beginning on Monday, will be the first legal action targeting the drug to go to trial. Patients who have taken Xarelto allege that the drug is supposed to alleviate stroke risks, but causes other serious health issues. Jef Feeley and Margaret Cronin Fisk, Chicago Tribune 04/25/2017 |
