24 Hour Fitness Faces Lawsuit Over Treadmill Brain Injury |
A $3.8 million lawsuit has been filed by a California woman who suffered severe brain injuries when she fell from a treadmill in 2011. The then-60-year-old woman cracked her skull when she fainted on a treadmill at a 24 Hour Fitness and fell. The lawsuit seeks nearly $4 million in lost wages and future long-term care, including physical therapy, neuropsychology counseling and household â??chore services.â?? RJ Reynolds Hit With $3M Verdict Over USAF Vet's Death |
A Florida jury on Friday awarded $3 million to the family of a U.S. Air Force veteran and former jail guard who died of lung disease, finding R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. was liable for his sickness and death but did not deserve to pay punitive damages. Jurors said that R.J. Drug Company Teva Named in Philly Family's Wrongful Death Suit |
A Philadelphia family has filed a wrongful death lawsuit over the death of a man by drug overdose. The family recently filed suit against Teva, the maker of the powerful painkilling lollipop that led to the victim's drug overdose. The lawsuit contends that Teva aggressively marketed the Fentanyl products, which are dangerous to patients.
