Class Action Lawsuit Filed Over Denver Hospital Health Scare |
A class action lawsuit has been filed over a health scare at a Denver hospital. According to the lawsuit, the hospital put patients at risk for Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C and HIV when contaminated syringes were switched with sterilized syringes. A surgical technician at the hospital has been accused of taking a syringe filled with Fentanyl and then putting another syringe in its place. The mix-up fueled a statewide health scare with patients worrying that they had been exposed to serious illnesses. The lawsuit alleges that the hospital was negligent in their hiring process, when it hired the surgical technician. Marc Stewart, The Denver Channel 03/10/2016 |
