The fight happened on Dec. 5, the child's mother, learned about it three days later when she was notified by the Department of Family and Protective Services that an employee had shot a video of the fight. Sixth Judicial District Judge Sally Tarnowski recently ruled that the families can seek punitive damages from the clinic which gave methadone to the woman who caused the fatal crash. The lawsuit contends that the clinic did not properly evaluate the woman before giving her methadone, which she injected into her system shortly before causing the collision. Sanderson has voluntarily recalled 551,090 pounds of chicken products produced at its plant in Hazlehurst, Mississippi. The chicken was sold to three companies who intended to reprocess the chicken for resale, but a sample tested by one of the companies and the USDA revealed foreign material in the chicken.
