Lawsuit Filed After Man Falls From Scaffolding in Houston, Texas |
A lawsuit has been filed after a Texas man fell from scaffolding on a construction site. He has remained in a vegetative state since the incident. The man was installing windows on the scaffolding when it collapsed, causing him to fall seven stories. The lawsuit was filed against Burton Construction Company by the man's family. Second Lawsuit Filed Over Missing Cargo Ship |
Another lawsuit has been filed over the missing El Faro cargo ship, this time by the wife of the ship's third mate. The lawsuit was filed on Monday and alleges that the ship should not have been sent out into the storm that may have caused it to sink. A $100 million lawsuit filed on behalf of one crew member was the first lawsuit filed in connection with the missing ship. The newest lawsuit names as defendants Sea Star Line and TOTE Services Inc.
