On Wednesday a federal jury cleared Johnson & Johnson and Bayer AG of any wrong doing related to the blood-thinning drug Xarelto. A Louisiana man had sued the two companies claiming that Xarelto caused him to have internal bleeding and other medical problems. The federal jury found that J&J and Bayer did not mislead the man or his doctors about the blood-thinning drug and its health risks. This case is the first to be ruled on, with over 18,000 patient suits still filed against the two companies.
