Families of Malaysia Airlines MH370 Victims File Suit Against Boeing

Boeing is facing a lawsuit filed by families of the victims of the Malaysia Airlines plane that disappeared in 2014. The Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 disappeared two years ago, and is believed to be lost in the South Indian Ocean. The lawsuit was filed against Boeing and alleges "negligence, breach of warranty, and strict liability on the part of Boeing and seeks actual damages as well as punitive and/or exemplary damages." The plaintiffs in the lawsuit are seeking a jury trial. The suit represents all 44 victim families and estates, three of which are from the United States.

Judge Allows Largest Title IX Lawsuit Against Baylor to Move Forward
Sexual assault victims at Baylor University have until the spring of 2018 to sue if they believe the school had lax and discriminatory policies that put them at a greater risk of being raped, a U.S. district judge (Judge Robert Pitman) ruled Tuesday.
