Cruise
line Royal Caribbean is seeking the dismissal of a lawsuit over the death of a
toddler who fell from a ship window in Puerto Rico and says the grandfather is
to blame. According to Royal Caribbean, which is facing a wrongful death suit
filed by the child's family, the grandfather was aware the window was open
when he lifted the girl up to it. The family claims that the death was an
accident and that the grandfather did not know the window was open when he

Lawsuit
Claims That Alabama Child Killed Herself After School Failed to Address
Bullying |
|
Alabama
school officials failed to protect a young girl from racially and gender-based
bullying, according to a lawsuit filed after her death. The 9-year-old girl
died by suicide in December 2018. According to the lawsuit filed in U.S.
District Court for the Southern District of Alabama by her family, the child's
suicide was a result of Demopolis City Schools' indifference to complaints of
her being bullied. The family seeks a jury trial and compensatory and punitive
damages.
