Allstate Files Suit Against Chiropractors Convicted in Insurance Scheme

A lawsuit has been filed against two New Jersey chiropractors convicted of running a "personal injury mill." The lawsuit was filed by the state of New Jersey and Allstate Insurance and seeks to recover insurance payouts. The lawsuit was filed against the two chiropractors who pleaded guilty to the scheme that enlisted 78 doctors, lawyers and "runners" to locate patients. According to the lawsuit, "these and similar alleged fraudulent activities increase the cost of insurance to consumers."
