Two Texas sheriff's deputies and one police officer have been named in a lawsuit alleging excessive force. The lawsuit was filed by a Jefferson, Texas woman after the officers made a stop at her home for a routine welfare check. The plaintiff alleges that during the visit to her home, the officers "arrested her without probable cause, searched her home without a warrant and used a stun gun on her multiple times after taking her to the county jail." The lawsuit seeks over $500,000 in damages.
