Meow Wolf Facing Lawsuit Over Childrens' Bounce House Injuries | | Arts and entertainment company Meow Wolf is facing a lawsuit filed in New Mexico by a woman who alleges her children were injured in a bounce house. According to the lawsuit, the children were injured at a 2018 block party hosted by the defendant when a rented bounce house was overturned by the wind, trapping them underneath. The lawsuit filed Friday in state District Court does not state the extent of the injuries. Also named as a defendant is Amazing Jumps LLC, the owner of the bounce house. 22% of Texas Covid-19 Deaths Connected to Nursing Homes | | More than one in five coronavirus-related deaths in Texas have been linked to skilled nursing homes, according to a Houston Chronicle analysis of state data, illustrating the vulnerability of older residents in group settings to the deadly virus. Data shows that 22 percent of deaths related to COVID-19 as of Monday were connected to nursing homes, while another 8 percent were linked to assisted-living facilities, which provide a less-intensive level of care. Cruise Crews File Covid-19 Suit | | In the US alone, nearly 80,000 cruise ship crew members are stranded on some 100 ships in ports or at sea off the coasts, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Alexandra Nedeltcheva filed a federal lawsuit in Florida against Celebrity on Tuesday, the first plaintiff in a class-action lawsuit accusing the company of failing to protect crew members by not distributing masks and implementing social distancing measures. Houston Workers at Amazon, FedEx Positive for COVID-19 | | A growing number of workers responsible for getting packages to consumers are falling sick, leaving those remaining on the job worried for their lives. At least 24 package workers in the Houston area =E2=80=94 including 19 Amazon, three UPS and two FedEx workers =E2=80=94 have been diagnosed with COVID-19, according to internal company communication obtained by the Chronicle, interviews with employees and media reports.
