The study was unique in that it used AT&T customers with Android phones and logged their texting from moving vehicles. The lawsuit was filed by a man whose wife was among the three victims killed two years ago at a Jewish site in Overland Park. The complaint, filed in Jackson County Circuit Court, blames the woman's death on the companies involved in the sale of the gun to the shooter. The lawsuit contends that the sellers should have known that a straw buyer was purchasing the gun for someone other than himself. Named as defendants in the lawsuit are Walmart, Friendly Firearms LLC. and two other entities. Mike Hendricks, Kansas City Star 04/11/2016 | Read Article: Kansas City Star | | |
