Attorney Personal Profile
Earl Drott was born and raised in rural Oklahoma and graduated from Broken Arrow High School in 1976. He worked his way through Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he obtained a degree in Business Administration with honors.
Mr. Drott worked as an oil company accountant and as a bank auditor before deciding to return to law school. He worked his way through the University of Texas School of Law where he was selected to serve on the Texas Law Review and on the National Mock Trial Team. Upon graduation from law school he came to Tyler, Texas, to practice law and raise a family.
Mr. Drott's wife of 22 years, Amy, is also a University of Texas School of Law graduate who has left the practice of law to fulfill her dream of being a public school teacher. She is currently a 7th grade Texas History teacher.
Mr. Drott has been involved with the Boy Scouts of America in various positions and capacities and is heavily involved in the numerous activities of his daughter and two sons. He is also an avid outdoorsman who has hunted, fished, hiked, and explored places ranging from Uruguay to the Yukon Territories. When not otherwise obligated, he can likely be found somewhere in the woods or working on his farm.
